Date Nut Rolls

Ingredients:
- 1 pkt Seedless dates
- 100 gms Walnuts / cashew nuts
- 5 oz Butter
- 2 oz [¼ c] Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- ½ lb [1 c] All purpose flour
Method:
- Knead butter till fluffy. Add sugar. When it melts, add 1 beaten egg.
- Mix in the flour lightly till it forms a ball.
- Roll it out ¼ “ thick (little thicker than chappatis).
- Cut into strips and roll each date (stuffed with a nut) in each strip and brush with beaten egg.
- Bake in hot 350 F oven for 20 mins.
Serve cool.
Makes about 40 rolls.
